What I Loved in 2025
2025-12-31
At the end of each year, I plan to compile a list of my favourite things, i.e. books, films, shows, and games. This is inspired by Barack Obama's famous lists and by the delightful What's Making Us Happy segment of NPR's Pop Culture Happy Hour podcast.
Here is this year's list...
Books
- Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card
- Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
- Babel by R.F. Kuang
- Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J.K. Rowling
- Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky
Film/TV
- A Real Pain (2025)
- Encanto (2021)
- Karate Kid: Legends (2025)
- Left-Handed Girl (2025)
- My Old Ass (2024)
- One Battle After Another (2025)
- Warfare (2025)
